    I’m Rohitashav—or, as most people know me, Gappu. I started Singing Woods to give people a place to experience authentic Himalayan life. Bringing together my passion for hospitality and love for my Pahadi roots, I set about to create a space where guests can truly experience the charm of Himachal, with all the warmth and depth that come with it. Tucked away in Kutla village, Singing Woods is a quiet escape - far from the tourist rush - accessible by a 4.5 km trek from Tosh. Apart from serving my guests and making sure they have an unforgettable experience, I love to spend my time gardening, playing guitar and sketching.
